What you can solve
Hi-lo, split the way the table splits it.
- Big O and PLO8 Omaha 5 Card Hi-Lo and Omaha 4 Card Hi-Lo, 8 or better. Each is its own game in Settings → Game setup.
- High and low halves Half the pot goes to the best high and half to the best qualifying low. Quarters, scoops and split side pots are settled exactly.
- No low, high takes it all On a board with no qualifying low, the whole pot plays as a high hand.
- Pot limit or fixed limit Play PLO8 and Big O pot-limit, or Omaha 8 or Better fixed-limit.
- Preflop and postflop Solve a full preflop tree, then open any flop from it and click New postflop sim. Ranges come across automatically.
- Rake and side games Choose from common rake structures or input your own. Stand Up (Nit) Game and Squid count a share of either half as a win.

What is Big O?
Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo with five hole cards. You use exactly two hole cards and three board cards for each half. The low needs five different cards of 8 or lower.
What is PLO8?
Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo with four hole cards, 8 or better for the low.
Can I run hi-lo on two boards?
No. Hi-lo games play one board. Double board works in every hi-only game.
Does it solve 6-card hi-lo?
No. Hi-lo covers 4 and 5 cards. 6-card PLO is solved high only.
Does it run on Mac or Linux?
No. HydraSolver is a Windows desktop app: Windows 11 or Server 2022 and newer, 64-bit. You can rent a Windows server from us and connect by Remote Desktop, or study in the browser with HydraViewer.
