How the Stand Up Game is solved

- Every seat starts standing Winning a share of a pot sits you down.
- The last one standing pays The last seat standing pays the penalty, in big blinds per player, to every other seat.
- Chops count Any share of any pot counts: a chop sits every sharer.
- Double board On a double board only a scoop — a share of both boards — counts as winning the pot.

Common questions
What is the Stand Up Game?
A side game for cash tables, also called the Nit Game. Everyone starts standing. Winning a pot sits you down, and the last player standing pays everyone else.
How does it change the strategy?
Winning a pot is worth the pot plus getting out of the penalty. The solve counts that in every EV, so you see how your ranges change as players sit down.
Can I set my own penalty?
Yes. Set the penalty in big blinds per player and who is still standing.
Does it work in tournaments?
No. Side games cannot combine with Tournament Mode. Turning either on clears the other.
Does it run on Mac or Linux?
No. HydraSolver is a Windows desktop app: Windows 11 or Server 2022 and newer, 64-bit. You can rent a Windows server from us and connect by Remote Desktop, or study in the browser with HydraViewer.
What does it cost?
