Privacy

Short version: we collect only what we need to answer you and deliver what you bought. We do not sell personal data.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we receive your email address and message so we can reply.

When you buy a license or an HDS Shop pack, we use the email you give at checkout to send the order and download links.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Bitcoin payments go through our Bitcoin payment flow and on-chain processors. We do not store your full card number.

What the app sends

HydraSolver checks your license with our server when you activate it and in the background while it runs. The check sends your license id and a fingerprint of the machine, worked out on your computer, so the license knows which seats are in use.

Bug Report sends nothing until you press Send. A report carries your message, an optional email, a one-way reference to your license, the machine fingerprint, the app version, a hardware summary, what the app was doing, recent messages and the end of the app’s logs. No trees, ranges, saved solves or exports go with it.

Partner links

If you arrive through a partner's link, such as hydrasolver.com/name/, we count the visit and keep that name in a cookie for 90 days. If you buy, we record the name with your order so we can credit the partner. The cookie holds nothing else.

Watermarking

Purchased solves are watermarked to the order so a file can be tied back to the purchase that issued it.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Payment processors see what they need to take the payment; otherwise your contact details stay with us for support and delivery.
