Terms of purchase
Simple terms for HydraSolver licenses and HDS Shop files. This is not legal advice — it is what you are buying and how renewals work.
HydraSolver license
A license runs for one year. Single is $899 and carries one activation; Dual is $1,299 and carries two. A Single can be upgraded to Dual mid-term for $400; the upgrade adds the second activation and does not change the renewal date. Both are the same software: every supported game and every update released during that year is included, and the only difference is how many machines may run it at once. There is no free trial.
- The solver works offline while the license is valid. It phones home to renew and activate, not to run each solve.
- When the year ends, the app goes read-only: you can still open, browse, train and export existing solves. You cannot start a new solve until you renew.
- Renewing adds one year to whatever time is left — buying early does not waste days.
- Renew is a separate checkout for an existing license id. It is not a second full license.
- You can release an activation from Settings → License when you change machines. Seats idle for 120 days free themselves.
HDS Shop
You buy files, not a subscription. Purchased .hds solves
are watermarked to your order and yours to keep. They open in
HydraSolver on a machine with an activated license — including a
lapsed one: expiry stops new solves, never your files. Download
links last 48 hours; re-open your receipt page to fetch again.
Payments
Card payments go through Stripe. Bitcoin is on-chain at the rate fixed when the order is created. Once a Bitcoin payment is sent, it cannot be cancelled.
Server rental
Optional quotes only — nothing is reserved or charged until you accept a price in writing.
